This is from the cover of X-Men Origins: Nightcrawler #1.
I used photoshop to cut out different parts of the image and with the a combo of the stamp tool and the brush tool I fleshed out the pieces. After the prep work I threw everything into aftereffects and layered them into 3D space. Then I used a moving camera and this is it!
This was made for practice and for my love of my favorite character in Marvel. :)
